GARDEN ROOMS FOR EVERY NEED

A garden room can provide useful space to suit a range of requirements, from offices to gyms

If you have a garden that doesn’t get used as much as it might, the addition of a garden room might be a great way to get the most out of it. These custom additions can provide you with useful extra living space as well as a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your garden. From conception to completion, the experienced team at The Haus Development Group Limited will work to create a space that reflects you, consulting you on fixtures and fittings, materials and design elements each step of the way.

Built to suit your lifestyle

We want every one of our clients to get the garden room that’s right for them, and that means designing it around you and the way you live. We will discuss your options with you during the initial consultation, taking on board your requirements so that we can design a garden room that precisely meets your needs. Garden rooms can be built to serve a wide variety of purposes.

  • Be productive in a home office or home gym
  • Be creative in a studio or workshop
  • Relax in a summerhouse or home bar
  • EXCEPTIONAL BUILD QUALITY IN LINE WITH UK STANDARDS

EXCEPTIONAL BUILD QUALITY IN LINE WITH UK STANDARDS
Every garden room complies with current regulations
Whilst most garden rooms do not require planning permission, as long as you have permitted development rights within the area you live or at your property, there are certain rules and regulations to be mindful of. We have put together a short list of some of the main factors to consider, but don’t worry if these seem confusing; The Haus Development Group Limited has the skills and knowledge to ensure your new structure complies with these rules, so you won’t need to panic.

    • Garden rooms should not be erected at the front of the house
    • The total area of the outbuilding should not cover more than 50% of the total area around your property
    • Must only be single storey
    • Should not exceed 3 metres in height, or 4 metres if you’re going for a dual-pitched roof
    • The eaves should be no more than 2.5 metres above ground level
