EXCEPTIONAL BUILD QUALITY IN LINE WITH UK STANDARDS
Every garden room complies with current regulations
Whilst most garden rooms do not require planning permission, as long as you have permitted development rights within the area you live or at your property, there are certain rules and regulations to be mindful of. We have put together a short list of some of the main factors to consider, but don’t worry if these seem confusing; The Haus Development Group Limited has the skills and knowledge to ensure your new structure complies with these rules, so you won’t need to panic.
- Garden rooms should not be erected at the front of the house
- The total area of the outbuilding should not cover more than 50% of the total area around your property
- Must only be single storey
- Should not exceed 3 metres in height, or 4 metres if you’re going for a dual-pitched roof
- The eaves should be no more than 2.5 metres above ground level
